The restaurant offers traditional Turkish meat dishes (skewer, kofte, adana, urfa) both in durum (piadina) and in a dish together with bulgur.The owner was kind and not at all intrusive, speaking to us in English (not a given in Istanbul), he also offered us two cai (Turkish tea).

We went on an empty quiet nice and the owner/chef was very kind and patient with us. There was no shouting at us to come inside from the streets (like other restaurants in the nearby touristy area). This felt like a secret find, local and peaceful. The food prices are unbelievably affordable and the hospitality was wonderful. The food was so delicious, literally the best kebab I’ve had so far in Türkiye. The Adana kebab was juicy and crispy at the same time, and all the sides were very tasty too! My favorite was the sweet onion one, but the tomato mix and the yoghurt mix were also very delicious. The salad blend was perfect as either a salad on its own or a topping with the kebab. Best experience ever, I’m planning on returning again for more!!

I ate at a Michelin recognized resteraunt the night before and its was very good. The next day I came here and in every single way this was better. Can’t recommend this place enough
